The Marvel’s Avengers next-gen update includes 4K support for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with up to 1440p support on Xbox Series S. It also features faster loading times, “improved heroics and armor destruction,” high-res textures, longer draw distances, and improved streaming times.
Marvel’s Avengers supports cross-gen play, so PS5 players can play with PS4 players and the same for Xbox X|S and Xbox One.
Operation Hawkeye — Future Imperfect stars Clint Barton as Hawkeye, obviously, as he tries contacting SHIELD’s leader Nick Fury and putting a stop to AIM’s nefarious plans. Operation Hawkeye introduces a new villain to Marvel’s Avengers in Maestro, a twisted combination of Hulk and Bruce Banner who exists in a post-apocalyptic version of Earth.
The Hawkeye update adds two more features, reassemble campaign replay and the HARM Room. Reassemble lets players reset their campaign and start again without losing their hero progress, while the HARM Room offers enemy customization options for a more tailored combat experience.
